Il pompelmo

Il pompelmo è un frutto con un apporto zuccherino (6,2%) piuttosto basso e con poche calorie (26 kcal/100 g) ma è ricco  di fibre (1,6%) e vitamine, quindi risulta particolarmente indicato in caso di sovrappeso e obesità, anche per arricchire le insalate senza aggiungere troppe calorie, e in caso di diabete
Per quanto riguarda le fibre contiene sia fibre insolubili (1,06%) sia solubili (0,54%): è in grado, oltre che di favorire la regolarità intestinale (risultando dunque utile in caso di stipsi), di regolare l'assorbimento degli zuccheri e del colesterolo; risulta particolarmente indicato nei soggetti diabetici e con dislipidemia e sembra anche indicato in caso di ipertensione
Il pompelmo ha anche importanti proprietà digestive, essendo in grado di stimolare la secrezione dei succhi gastrici e biliari, e antiossidanti, grazie alla presenza di flavonoidi e vit. C (40 mg/100 g); contiene inoltre vit. del gruppo B (0,2 mg/100 g di niacina o vit. B3 o PP) e potassio (230 mg/100 g). 

Risotto agli agrumi (per 4 persone)
Fate tostare 300-320 g di riso, aggiungete 1 scalogno affettato fine e brodo vegetale; a metà cottura circa aggiungete il succo di 1 arancia e di 1 pompelmo rosa non trattati (dei quali tenete da parte la buccia ridotta a julienne) e portate a termine la cottura aggiungendo altro brodo vegetale al bisogno. 
Verso fine cottura aggiungete 1 manciata di olive nere, le scorze di agrumi a julienne (tenete da parte alcune scorze d'arancia per decorare) e 1 macinata di pepe e regolate il sale.
Fuori dal fuoco aggiungete 2 C di olio e 1 ciuffo di erba cipollina tagliuzzata e decorate con le scorze di pompelmo rimaste.

After I initially left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me from that service? Cheers!
